Happy Spring
http://www.dawnblanchardphotography.com This makes me very happy. Tiny little red pompoms appearing on the branches, pops of colour that change the view outside my windows on a daily basis. I don’t even care that the pollen litters the driveway and plugs up my sinuses. I am just happy to enjoy every minute of this beautiful season.
Lace-like Leaf
This dried and brittle leaf lay on my deck near where I hang out clothes. I noticed how it had turned sort of lacey in the loss of its green flesh. It is like a little leaf skeleton, and I find it to be quite beautiful. Of course I had to photograph it.
Fall through the Curtains
This is what fall looks like from my living room couch.
Early Spring?
The groundhog says it will be an early spring. The cloud cover may have had something to do with this, but I’m going to hold onto a little hope anyway.
Petals turned Pink
Not only the leaves change colours in early fall. Each time I walk out the front door, I am greeted by pretty pink hydrangea. The cooler weather has turned their pale petals to a soft pink.
